Benten, is the Japanese/Buddhist goddess of good fortune, love, beauty, wisdom, knowledge, eloquence, music, arts... While she is depicted in many different forms; I got inspired by a printed portrait of Benten showing all her attributes of fortune within her abundant hair. Benten is cast in Bronze with a green on brown patina and 24 K gilded ribbon decoration
In viewing and touching this sculpture I wish you to be reminded of all the good you have already been given and to be grateful for all the good that is already on your way.
This piece is cast in bronze and finished on order and will take about 90 days to be ready for delivery.
